So I am ripping this off of other people's blogs because I think that it is an awesome idea and I need ideas for blogging.
It is a 15 day challenge, so it should keep me busy for awhile.

Day 12-What you believe
Day 13-Goals
Day 14-Some pictures you love
Day 15-Pictures of your dream house

This is the most recent picture of me other than the ones from Orlando.  But I don't think anyone wants to see me hot and sweaty from the heat so this is it.  Totally caught off guard with a weird smile.  Thanks hon!
15 Interesting Facts:
1: I have dated or have been married to the same person for the last 15 years.  I started to date my husband when we were in Grade 10, 15 years old we were!  We are definitely high school sweethearts.

2: I love to sleep.  Even when I've had a good nights sleep, I could have a nap.  I just like that cozy feeling.

3: I've always had a fascination with Mount Everest.  If someone could guarantee that I would make it to the top and back down without dying I would do it.  But I don't think it's possible so I might just have to settle for hiking to Base Camp sometime in my life.  When I am in better shape!

4: I have a horrible sweet-tooth.  I probably have something sweet everyday.  It's something that I would love to kick.  It really is like an addiction.

5: I love my van.  I don't know if I could go back to a car.  I like how high up I sit, I can see the road better.

6: I once came within 30 meters of a momma bear and her two cubs.  Totally freaked me out and now I'm a little scared to go hiking.  I had nightmares and everything.  This might affect me doing #3.

7: I thought I was overweight in high school.  I had really tiny girls in my class. I wasn't tiny but I wasn't big either. Boy, the things that you learn as you get older.  I wish I was that size again.  That was the slimmest I have been since graduating.
Why do girls always do that to themselves?

8: The best job that I ever had was a dishwasher in a fancy french restaurant.

9: The thing that I regret the most is that I didn't take the opportunity to learn more at the above (#8) when it was offered to me.  I thought I would mess something up or I'm just the dishwasher.  But that is not what the bosses thought.  I had an opportunity and I wasted it.

10: My dream job would be being a chef.  I am fascinated by everything about it.  I know it's a lot of hot work in a hot place but it feels like true work to me and it is becoming a lost art in a world that people would rather run to McDonald's than to cook something.  That was a really long sentence, sorry!

11: The thing that grosses me out the most is when people spit on the sidewalk.  There is nothing grosser than seeing a big spitball on the sidewalk.  I actually gag when I think about it.

12: I would love to run a marathon one day.  Crazy I know and if you knew me in school, you would laugh at this one because I am the worst runner ever.  I'm hoping that I can learn to run!

13: I get motion sickness in a vehicle or on rides.

14: Feet kind of gross me out.  And mine are always cold and sweaty at the same time.  Does that make any sense?!

15: I love living in Canada and I think we are the luckiest people ever but if I was going to live in another country I would live in England.  And my most favorite city that I have ever been to is Boston, Massachusetts.  Places with a lot of history, I am all for that.

When I started the 15 interesting facts I wasn't sure if I could finish it.  Once you get started though it just starts to flow out.  I'm interested about tomorrow.

  1. This is a great idea Krista. I love reading your blog and miss it when you skip a few days. I think it makes me feel like I'm not missing out on everything and that I'm still just round the corner. Now I'm all misty eyed :(

  2. Hi Krista,
Loved reading that, and by the way, the tiny girls in high school aren't all so tiny anymore either!!! :-D
And I have to tell you again, you should really come for a visit, there are so many mountains you can easily climb here and there are no bears! Also, the cities are loaded with history and most restaurants still cook real, slow food.
